About Me

Hello,

I’m Paul, a registered mental health nurse and cognitive behavioural therapist with over 10 years of experience in the UK’s National Health Service and independent sector. I love my work and particularly enjoy seeing how small changes can lead to significant improvements in a person’s recovery.

Although my sleep problems began over a decade earlier, things took a significant turn for the worse in 2014. What followed was a 10-year struggle with insomnia that affected every aspect of my life. I truly believed I would never sleep properly again, and treatment never extended beyond sleep medication.

Everything changed in 2024 when I was offered Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). To my astonishment, it worked—and rapidly. Experiencing the profound impact of CBT-I firsthand sparked a deep interest in the treatment of insomnia. Since then, I have undertaken additional training with Oxford University’s Sleep and Circadian Neuroscience Institute to further develop my expertise.

Now, I specialise in delivering CBT-I, helping others break free from the cycle of insomnia and regain control over their sleep. Whether you’re experiencing difficulties falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking too early, I provide structured, effective treatment to help you achieve lasting improvements in your sleep and well-being.

If you’re considering CBT-I, I’d be delighted to hear from you— just head to the contact page for details.
